TEAM REGISTRATION PROCEDURES ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT

  A head or assistant coach must register in person to receive the following:

                                         Player Passes

                                         Coach Passes (3 only)

                                         Scorekeeper and/or Timekeeper Pass (1 only)

                                         Contact List

                                         Complete team schedule

Teams MUST register at the Marriott Northeast within the times below;  there is no registration or passes distributed at the game sites.

                                         Friday, 7:00 PM -11:30 PM at Cincinnati Marriott NE

                                         Saturday, 7:00 AM - 11:30 AM at Cincinnati Marriott NE

In the past we have been flexible, but this event will be quite large and requires stricter enforcement of this rule.

If you do not register at one of the listed times, your team will forfeit their first game!

MIDWEST SHOWDOWN TOURNAMENT FORMAT

•   Age Groups 13,14,15,16-17 & Elite Bracket
  

•   Roster Limit of 15 players per team
  

•   5 games guaranteed
  

•   Bracket Play begins on Saturday
  

•   Monday is the single elimination tournament
  

•   Top 3 teams advance to Monday single elimination tournament
  

•   Each team must provide their own scorekeeper or clock person
  

•   There will be individual awards for each member of the 1st and 2nd place teams in each age group.
  

•   The outstanding player in each age group will receive a MVP award.
  

MIDWEST SHOWDOWN TOURNAMENT RULES

•   No running clock (if your team is down by 20+ points in the 2nd half the clock will run)
  

•   Games will be played under NCAA rules (there will be shot clocks)
  

•   Ages 13-18 will play two sixteen (16) minute halves
  

•   Two (2) full and two (2) 30 second timeouts per game
  

•   Teams will shoot one and one on the 10th foul
  

•   Tiebreaker will be determined by head to head and plus and minus 15
  

•   First overtime is two minutes; second overtime is 1 minute; third overtime is sudden death
  

•   Site Directors have final ruling in case of disputes
  

ADMISSION FEES

Adult Daily Admission:                 $ 12 per day

Adult Weekend Pass:                  $  30 each

Youth Daily Admission (7yr-17y):  $   5 per day (no Youth weekend passes)

Children (6yrs and under)                     Free
